The Fair and Miller Family Foundation is a Georgia-based nonprofit organization committed to advancing equity through education, mentorship, and opportunity. We serve disadvantaged and underrepresented youth, with a special focus on students pursuing STEM, mechanical trades, and career-readiness pathways.
Whether it’s college-bound seniors or students entering the trades, our foundation exists to plant the seeds of possibility—by providing not just financial support, but also guidance, exposure, and long-term encouragement.
Purpose
Many capable students are sidelined by financial barriers or lack of guidance. We believe a student’s zip code or household income should not determine their future. Through the Fair and Miller Family Foundation, we’re bridging opportunity gaps and cultivating a generation of doers, builders, and changemakers.
Mission & Vision
We help our customers through our commitment to education and community empowerment by providing the following services:
We award S.E.E.D. Scholarships that empower students to initiate their academic journeys—whether that be at universities, trade schools, or certification programs. These scholarships serve as crucial “seed money,” opening doors to opportunities in education and personal growth.
We connect young individuals with industry professionals who provide invaluable real-world insights, personal coaching, and career direction in sectors such as engineering, healthcare, information technology, and mechanical trades. This mentorship aims to equip students with the knowledge and support they need to succeed.
Through partnerships with schools, community organizations, churches, and grassroots initiatives like New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Macon, GA, we strive to reach students where they are and ensure our programs are aligned with genuine community needs. By collaborating with local entities, we enhance our impact and effectiveness in serving the community.
We invite donors, mentors, and educational partners to join us in creating a pipeline of support for the next generation.
Because every dream needs a little soil to grow.
